About this exhibition
These artists utilize observation of the physical world and incorporate it with imaginative interventions of the mind to create images composed by handmarking (literally the act of drawing a stylus or material across a surface). Meanwhile comics artists are being recruited worldwide from Korea, Europe, and other international locales to present their work with Chicago artists in our gallery and published in our Comics anthology: WORLDWIDE (journal #6) that spans audiences across all languages and cultures.
