A skilled artist and printmaker who constantly explores experimentation with a vast array of other materials, Deborah Maris Lader ’s newest work extends the printed image off the page via animations, sculptural techniques, and automata. Using mechanistic props, light and space, she devises a diverse menagerie of beings, creatures from the inner workings of Lader's creative brain.
